Bulgaria opens the tourist season with offers that are not to be missed

Bulgaria opens the tourist season in 2021 with offers for ski vacation that are not to miss: €19 per person per night, Romanian newspaper Adevarul writes. The demand for ski vacation in Bulgaria is growing steadily after the country's exit from the list of countries with increased epidemiological risk, the publication points out and adds that a large number of tourists make reservations from today to tomorrow.
According to data from “Adevarul” so far the most reservations for ski vacation in Bulgaria have been made for mid-January and the inter-term vacation of students in Romania in the period 30 January - 7 February. Ski vacation in Bansko costs 19 euros per person per night in a three-star hotel and breakfast, and 23 euros per person per night in a four-star hotel. In Borovets the prices are 35 euros per person per night in a four-star hotel and half board, and in Pamporovo - 27 euros in a four-star hotel on half board. At the request of tourists, the offer may also include a lift pass and ski equipment. In the cabins of the lift, which are disinfected periodically, only four persons or families with a maximum of six members are allowed to enter. The hotels are also open spas in which tourists can relax after a day spent on the slopes, writes Adeverul.

The newspaper notes that with the start of the campaign for vaccination of the population against Covid-19, one of the Romanian travel agencies increased reservations for holidays in Dubai, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Dominican Republic, Zanzibar and Romania. Reservations are also made for the summer months and autumn.

"The year started well. The emergence of a vaccine, which is a solution to exit the pandemic, acts mobilisingly for tourists. People want to travel and make reservations many months in advance,” Denisa Oprea, a manager at the Halloween agency, told the newspaper.

Payment conditions are adapted to the current situation. The advance for booking is 10 percent, the second installment is 20 percent, and the last installment is made 60 days before departure. The newspapers Gandul and Romania Libera write today that the Romanian Orthodox Church will support the Covid-19 vaccination campaign. The health ministry announced that the Romanian Orthodox Church will distribute informative materials on vaccination in its dioceses.
