CEZ companies successfully passed a second supervisory audit of quality management systems under ISO 9001:2015

Implementation of the requirements of the international standard guarantees high efficiency and allows better customer service
Three of the companies of the CEZ Group in Bulgaria - CEZ Distribution Bulgaria AD, CEZ Bulgaria EAD and CEZ Electrical Bulgaria AD - successfully passed a second supervisory audit of quality management systems to confirm the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Audit team from the certification company “TUF Rhineland Bulgaria” Ltd. verified the documentation and practical implementation of the quality management system, tracking the work processes in the various units of the companies. The external auditors expressed their satisfaction with the established efficiency of quality management systems, processes implemented, high level of engagement and good organization of CEZ employees.

Earlier this year, two more CEZ companies in Bulgaria successfully defended their integrated management systems. CEZ Trade Bulgaria EAD received certificates that it applies the standards: ISO 9001:2015 for quality management; ISO 14001:2015, which ensures that the company has implemented the highest standards for environmental management; as well as a certificate for the new international standard ISO 45001:2018 for management of health and safety at work. In May this year the company is certified according to the standard for energy management ISO 50001:2018.

CEZ ICT Bulgaria EAD also protected certified systems according to the international standards ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 27001:2013 for information security management.

“The results of the audits prove that CEZ companies in Bulgaria uncompromising comply with the established international standards for quality management, allowing us to achieve better customer service and efficiency of business processes”, said Dusan Riban, Chief Operating Officer of CEZ Bulgaria EAD.
