In spite of pandemic: Amazon opens up 75,000 more jobs

Amazon ( Inc) announced today that it plans to hire 75,000 more people in positions ranging from warehouse staff to delivery driver after the coronavirus outbreak shut Americans to their homes and demand for online orders jumped, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
The e-commerce giant already expects to spend over 500 million on wage increases during the global pandemic, up from a previous estimate of $350 million.

The new appointment is in addition to the 100,000 warehouse workers and delivery workers recently hired by Amazon to keep up with the strong increase in requests.
