Karanikolov does not think that the Minister of Economy should approve loans in advance

Minister Emil Karanikolov does not think that the Minister of Economy should approve credits in advance. He reminded during the meeting of the relevant parliamentary committee that it is not the job of an economy minister to tell the Supervisory Board and the Board of BDB which credits and to whom to approve.
This would be interference with the work of a commercial bank, he added and reminded that BDB is a bank within the meaning of the law and has a special law.

The Minister recalled about the decision to replace the board of the bank because of a loan granted to a collector firm, BTA reported.

Chairman of the Parliamentary Economic Committee Petar Kanev announced that the Minister of Economy will present the new leadership of the BDB next Wednesday.
