Mayor of Pleven proposes: No rents for municipal sites closed because of the state of emergency

Mayor of Pleven Georg Spartanski will propose to the Municipal Council to completely simplify the rents of all municipal trade and sports sites closed because of the introduced emergency.
“It is lawful and moral that the affected tenants of commercial and sports properties do not owe rent for their premises for the time during which, due to force majeure circumstances, they cannot work in them. Therefore, I will propose to the City Council a draft decision by which the tenants will be exempted entirely from due rent for the duration of the state of emergency.” This announced in social networks Mayor Spartan.

And he added: “I believe that municipal councillors from all parties will unanimously support this proposal”.

The project of the Pleven mayor quickly gathered the support of municipal councillors from various political forces, who said they would vote “yes” at the upcoming session.
