Measures against COVID-19 in Turkey hit Haskovlias

Turkey is starting to gradually introduce restrictions to stop the spread of the coronavirus. So far, 5 cases of patients have been registered on the territory of the country. Turkey, however, does not report which towns the sick are in, writes haskovo.live.
In the most visited city of Haskovli - Edirne, two markets have already closed. First shutters hit the so-called “Friday” market, which is mainly for wholesale clothing.

Today, the domestic market is also closed. The market collected women from the villages of the Edirne Vilayet, who sold products, their own production - honey, pies, milk, cheese, vegetables.

Hotels in Edirne are already filtering their customers. Reservations are refused to Bulgarians.

Schools, universities and kindergartens are closed.

The municipality of Edirne granted a two-month extension for the water bills of all households. During this period, the water will not be stopped, even if it is not paid.

For now, deferral of electricity bills has not been announced. Banks also did not declare a waiting time for the loans.

Throughout Turkey from tomorrow, 12 days of paid leave for nursing mothers, pregnant women, people with permanent disabilities, adults over 60 who work in public administration and are not in leadership. The forced break was ordered by the Department of Health.

In Ankara and Izmir, municipal employees who have children up to 12 years are on paid leave. For now, no such measure has been introduced in Edirne.
