Muriel Penicaud: Subsidising leave in France will cost over €20 billion

France's state program to subsidize forced leave will string over 20 billion euros ($21.73 billion), Tough Minister Muriel Penicaud reported today, quoted by Reuters.
Penicaud said 628,000 companies and associations placed on forced leave nearly 7 million employees under that program, which envisions the state reimburse businesses up to 84 percent of their employees' salaries on forced leave.

The expenditure of the state and state unemployment fund Unedik (Unedic) will be more than 20 billion euros in my opinion, said Pénicaud on the air of TV Baef-Em, BTA points out.
