NSI pulled GDP growth from 3.5 to 3.1%

Gross domestic product growth for the fourth quarter of 2019 was 3.1%. This was announced by the chairman of the National Statistical Institute Sergei Tsvetarsky just.
In the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the previous growth was 0.8%.

GDP growth on an annual basis, which was reported by statistics two weeks ago, was 3.5%. However, these were express data, which are now recalculated.

Shortly after the NSI reported the GDP data two weeks ago, BSP MP Rumen Gechev accused the government of manipulation because he said the import data had not been calculated correctly.
