This was announced by the Social Minister Denitsa Sacheva during Friday's parliamentary control, writes Trud bg.

The department will propose amendments to the targeted aid as early as next week in the Council of Ministers.

"We intend to propose amendments to the targeted aid as early as next week in the Council of Ministers. One of them is to increase the average monthly income of a family member when applying for assistance to 150% of the minimum wage and to reach 915 BGN.

We also envisage taking not the average monthly income per member from the previous month, but from the time when the school introduced training restrictions”, Denitsa Sacheva said.

According to her, the aid of 375 BGN has reached up to 3000 families. By 12 November, 252 applications have been submitted to grant monthly targeted assistance for families with children up to 14 years of age under a declared state of emergency or declared an epidemic emergency.

Sacheva specified that 49 applications were approved and 113 were rejected because of an excess of the income threshold or because of unfounded reasons.
