The target of price control in China for this year has been achieved

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics of China, in 2020 consumer prices rose by 2.5% year-on-year, meeting the government target of controlling them within a range of about 3.5%.
The data also showed prices for industrial products in December 2020 increased 1.1% from the previous month, Radio China reports.

Yao Jinyuan, advisor to the Council of State, said that a steady recovery in domestic demand, coupled with the continued price rise of some wholesale goods on international markets, led to a 0.6 percentage point rise in price growth for industrial products by 0.6 percentage points from the previous month.
