Turkey resumes international flights on 18 June

Turkish national airline carrier Turkish Airlines announced it was renewing international flights suspended due to the coronavirus on 18 June, Turkish private broadcaster NTV reported.
At the first stage, flights will run from 16 European cities to 14 points in Turkey, according to the air carrier's public relations officer Jahya Yustun.

Since yesterday, domestic flights were also renewed. They are operated by six airports in five cities across the country - Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Trabzon.

Due to the epidemic, however, no hand luggage is accepted on board planes and passengers are obliged to wear masks and observe social distance and personal hygiene measures. Along with the team in charge of the flight, there will also be a hygiene team aboard the planes. In the terminals, no greeters are allowed.
