Will the emergency doctors get their bonuses because of COVID-19?

Regional Health Inspections (RHI) employees, the Emergency Medical Center and the National Center for Communicable and Parasitic Diseases will receive additional quarterly bonuses for their frontline work during the COVID-19 outbreak, the Standard reported.
This was announced by Health Minister Kiril Ananiev in response to a question from United Patriots MP Georgi Kolev during today's blitz control of the health committee in parliament.

For March the employees who receive the extra money are 1760 for April are 2676 people. They will receive an additional 1000 leva per month towards their remuneration for their work on the first line.

The Ministry of Health will sign a contract with 111 municipalities to provide funds for remuneration and the health mediators will be given BGN 610 each and the health insurance contributions will be taken over by the Ministry.
